Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with passion and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and foster a collaborative team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities including planning, maintenance, staffing, training, and operation associated with the safe and efficient functioning of assigned facility.
- Maintains quality of materials being shipped and received. Reviews inbound and outbound materials shipped to determine quality issues that may need attention.
- Ensures that outbound/inbound loads are checked for accurate weight, product, and quality.
- Supervises employees including participating in hiring, safety training, corrective actions, performance reviews and terminations as appropriate.
- Ensures coverage of the day's schedule.
- Maintains a safe working environment; observes employees for safe working practices.
- Ensures all equipment is running properly and efficiently.
- Supports the execution of EHS policies and programs.
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.).
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Oversee all equipment maintenance including logs and record keeping.
- Responsible for Bag house maintenance, and record keeping.
- Stops any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Responsible for accurate data reporting for inbound and outbound, throughput and tracking of commodities that need more than one process to compete for outbound materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
- High School diploma.
- Preferred 1-3 years' experience within our industry or closely related industry.
- Must have excellent open communication style to carry out ongoing dialogues in a way that creates trust and confidence within all levels of the company.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
