Job Summary The Print Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process of printed materials within an envelope manufacturing environment. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, meet quality standards and align with client expectations. The Print Project Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, recommends optimal design and material solutions, and manages vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective production. Additionally, this role requires staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance production quality and efficiency. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Minneapolis Plant Manager for daily operational coordination and plant-related priorities. Responsibilities Manage the complete lifecycle of print projects from initiation to completion Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, objectives and specifications Provide expert guidance on design, materials, printing processes and finishing options Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets to ensure cost-effective execution Obtain and analyze competitive vendor quotes, negotiating favorable pricing and terms Select and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely project delivery Maintain strict quality control throughout the production process, including pre-flight checks, press checks and final product inspection Review and approve proofs to ensure accuracy and quality before final print production Ensure compliance with established quality standards, G7 printing standards and client specifications Identify and resolve potential production issues, troubleshooting problems as needed Maintain accurate project documentation, including tracking project progress and reporting key milestones Stay up to date with industry's best practices, new technologies and evolving printing processes Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing and sales Uphold and promote the
