RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage craft hiring and onboarding processes Maintain applicants in the Applicant Tracking/Recruitment Management system Identify and pre-screen potential craft team members Arrange or support job fairs Convert pending workers to craft team members Ensure field orientation and correct completion of new hire paperwork Maintain records of Good Faith Efforts in hiring Assist new team members with Mortenson and Oracle Cloud navigation Plan and schedule training classes, reserve venues, and coordinate enrollment Prepare and distribute training materials, maintain training records Manage setup and recordkeeping of craft team members Maintain confidential craft team member/management files Develop craft resource plans with FOM Process transfers and terminations in Oracle Cloud Resolve escalated timecard/payroll issues Administer MVR/DOT and drug testing screenings Support performance review processes and benefit open enrollment Manage potentially separated craft team members' processes Support FOM in Safety and Quality programming Plan and manage logistics for safety and quality meetings Attend Safety Leadership Team meetings and send updates on programs Create presentations for Safety and Quality programs Lead or support Craft Engagement initiatives (e.g., 30/60/90 Check-Ins, engagement surveys, Craft HR week, Safety week, DEI week, Toolbox Talks, Service Awards)QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in business or related administrative experience preferred. Minimum of seven years of experience in an administrative support role Minimum of five years of experience working in the construction industry or related industry Demonstrated leadership in working with Craft Team Members Knowledge of general safety protocol in the construction industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Email and Calendar systems, and PowerPoint Detail oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous, upbeat, adept at succeeding in rapidly changing environment Strong communication skills with high degree of integrity in both written and verbal communications A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $81,200- $121,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL
- 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR
- 10%, Washington, D.C.
- 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan. #LI-CB1 #LI
