RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage overall financial health of projects, including subcontracts and suppliers Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections Allocate project estimates into the financial system and manage budgets Approve invoices and provide financials and billings to accounting Create monthly owner billings and oversee budget for trade partners and suppliers Handle billings, contract management, and contract buyouts Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers Assign job tasks and facilitate career development Approve timecards and provide ongoing performance feedback Serve as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative Assist with owner agreement reviews and resolve site concerns Build positive relationships through frequent interactions and service Execute change orders and obtain necessary approvals Work effectively with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Lead by example, provide coaching, and manage team performance Maintain schedule and budget until project completion Manage quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and teamQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience Minimum six years of construction management or related experience Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects High level of detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel overnight on occasion Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended use Current driver's license A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $ 113,500- $170,300.
