Job Description

Refresco Beverages US Inc seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead capital and process improvement projects in a high-volume beverage manufacturing environment. You will own projects from concept through commissioning, managing scope, budget, timelines, and risk while ensuring safety and quality. Partner closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to implement new equipment, optimize lines, and improve reliability. This role requires strong technical, vendor management, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead engineering projects from concept through commissioning in a manufacturing plant Manage project scope, budget, schedules, and risk for multiple concurrent initiatives Coordinate with operations, maintenance, quality, and safety teams on project requirements Select and manage vendors, contractors, and external engineering partners Drive process improvements to increase safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency Develop technical specifications, layouts, and equipment requirements Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company engineering standards Prepare project status reports and present updates to plant and corporate leadership Support commissioning, start-up, and operator training for new systems Identify and prioritize future capital and continuous improvement opportunities Required Skills Project management Capital project planning and execution Manufacturing engineering Process engineering Auto CAD or similar CAD tools Equipment specification and layout Vendor and contractor management Budgeting and cost control Root cause analysis and problem-solving Continuous improvement/Lean/Six Sigma Regulatory and safety compliance Commissioning and start-up support
