Available with Approval Are you a Manufacturing Engineer or Engineering Leader who enjoys being on the plant floor, solving problems, leading technical teams, and turning ideas into real manufacturing improvements? We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance operations at a well-established seating manufacturing facility in Bruce, Mississippi . This is a highly visible leadership opportunity where you will oversee 3 Manufacturing Engineers and 6 Maintenance Technicians while partnering closely with operations, quality, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams. What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance Technicians Oversee manufacturing engineering activities for a 240-person plant Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and efficiency Manage capital projects, capital budgeting, and investment approvals Lead equipment installations, equipment run-offs, and facility/plant layout improvements Identify manufacturing challenges and work directly with operators and plant leadership to develop solutions Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements Provide technical guidance and resolve complex manufacturing issues Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, and operations Help maintain the plant's strong culture and exceptionally high employee retention What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology , or a related field 5+ years of manufacturing/operations experience 2+ years of supervisory or management experience Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment Experience managing or leading technical teams Experience with capital projects, capital budgeting, or equipment investment Experience with plant or facility layout Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to work directly with operators and technical teams on the manufacturing floor Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to work onsite in Bruce, Mississippi, Monday-Friday Preferred Experience Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Manufacturing automation Robotic welding or automated fabrication Tube bending, metal fabrication, welding, upholstery, or assembly AutoCAD or similar CAD software Capital project planning and equipment run-offs New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing leadership within seating, furniture, automotive, or a similar industry Why This Opportunity?
