Your impact As Production Manager, you will establish the vision and direction for shop operations by empowering people, developing talent and creating an environment where safety, quality, accountability and performance thrive. Success in this role will be measured not only by production results, but by your ability to: Build engaged, high-performing teams. Develop strong frontline leadership. Improve operational efficiency through Lean thinking and continuous improvement. Remove barriers before they affect production. Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration. Balance customer commitments with employee development and long-term operational success. What you'll be responsible for Provide leadership for all fabrication shop operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors and foremen responsible for daily production. Establish priorities and allocate resources to meet production commitments. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, quality, and operational performance. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Project Management to achieve business objectives. Promote a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility. Make sound business decisions regarding staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation. Support talent development, succession planning, hiring, and employee performance management. Champion operational excellence while maintaining exceptional customer service.
