Job Description

SEG Systems, a leading manufacturer and distributor of lightboxes, graphics and retail solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for our Charlotte, NC facility. The right candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem solving abilities, lean manufacturing principles and strong organization skills. Responsibilities:
Oversee Production Operations:
Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Safety:
Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Quality Control:
Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular audits of production processes and facilitate corrective actions.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor manufacturing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Implement Best Practices:
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans that align with overall company objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, project management, and graphic operations to enhance operational performance.
Budget Management:
Manage budgets for manufacturing operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Additional Skills Preferred:
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
Safety Compliance:
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance within the manufacturing environment.
Continuous Improvement:
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen is advantageous.
Language:
Bilingual skills a plus
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
