Job Description

Project Manager Omaha, NE Full-Time A manufacturing and engineering company is hiring a Project Manager to deliver projects for customers, spanning engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service/installation, and accounting activities. This role owns bid management, schedule creation and management, contract review, and resource planning across the full project lifecycle. Schedule Full-time. Travel up to 25 percent, which may include international travel and occasional weekend stays as bids and projects demand. Compensation $75,000 to $95,000 per year, plus bonus. What You'll Do This manager develops and maintains project schedules that identify deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation, and performs contract review and negotiation alongside Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Market Development Managers. The role includes contract management throughout the course of each project, providing regular project updates on schedule and budget to the PMO and executive management, and reporting variances between project progress and established baselines. This position prepares and delivers formal project documentation in coordination with Engineering and other departments, and ensures documentation and account activity are properly organized according to PMO standards. The manager visits customers as needed for negotiations, project kickoff, status updates, and project closeout, schedules and facilitates meetings with project resources, and coordinates with Engineering to support internal project management needs. This role also creates and implements new project management processes and manages the bid process, including bid schedule, review meetings, and approvals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of project management experience Proven experience managing project coordination and completion on time and within profitability expectations Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with strong time management skills Ability to function autonomously within job responsibilities Demonstrated experience reviewing and modifying contractual terms and conditions Ability to understand technical requirements related to project management and contractual terms Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Office 365 Advanced knowledge of project management software, preferably MS Project Preferred Qualifications PMP certification Ability to conduct business in a second language (Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin) Compensation and Benefits $75,000 to $95,000 per year, plus bonus Standard benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
