Job Description

About Us:
WEAVE Filtration is a growing textile manufacturing company specializing in high-quality filter cloth. We are looking for a proactive, organized, detail driven and hands-on Assistant Production Manager to lead our production team, keep jobs on schedule, and ensure we meet customer ship dates.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds repeatedly through the 8hr work day. Collaborative with the Production Manager and be mindful of Lean Principles. Monitor product quality and resolve production issues quickly. Understand production flow, pertaining to next manufacturing steps. Coordinate operation and work with team mates in Laser, Grommet and Roping Operations (we provide full training). Must be able to think ahead, not a "Yes" man and have strong communication skills. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production environment.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and scheduling skills. Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office). Problem-solving mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines. Must have a valid drivers license.

Life:
Start your day by reviewing todays schedule with the Production Manager. Proactively address bottlenecks, whether its a part shortage, mechanical downtime on a machine and be proactive; speak up! Communicate regularly with adjacent departments to keep everyone aligned on order progress and ship dates. Perform quality spot-checks and make real-time adjustments to maintain production consistency. End the shift by updating records, prepping for the next day and perhaps mentoring a teammate on best practices.
