About Our Client This company is a well-established manufacturer that manufactures products for the HVAC and hydronics industry. They design and build high-efficiency heating solutions for commercial and residential applications across North America. Job Description In this role you will report directly to the Engineering Director and be responsible for: Managing new product development projects through the stage-gate process and delivering projects on time and within budget. Aligning project objectives, timelines, and deliverables with Product Marketing and other key stakeholders. Leading cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, laboratory technicians, and technical professionals. Developing detailed project plans, critical path schedules, milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation strategies. Identifying project risks, conflicts, and potential roadblocks while implementing mitigation and contingency plans. Escalating critical issues to leadership and facilitating effective resolution of project challenges. Coordinating internal and external resources to achieve project goals and business objectives. Securing organizational support and managing project resources through functional leaders. Communicating project status, risks, and progress through regular reviews, updates, and management reports. Monitoring stage-gate milestones and ensuring adherence to project governance requirements. The Successful Applicant A successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing new product development projects. Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software applications. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Experience assessing project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. Strong communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. PMP certification preferred.
