Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacuring Operations Manager to oversee our plant processing operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant production, ensuring efficiency and quality while maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of production planning, and operations management. Duties With the assistance of the Production Manager and Lead Operators you will oversee the daily planning, operations and processing of textiles weekly, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Develop and implement plans using production software systems to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Manage inventory levels and coordinate supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials. Develop, lead and mentor a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance. Prepare reports on production metrics, operational issues, and project progress for upper management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred but not required. Proven experience in plant management or a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of production management, planning systems, and processes. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and Six Sigma preferred but not required. Excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to motivate teams and drive performance. Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making. Effective communication skills to interact with various department heads, vendors and employees at all levels.
Pay:
$95,000 to $115,000 with 20% bonus opportunity.
