Job Description

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
Preferred Certification:
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience, preferably in a medical device environment
  • 2-3+ years of project management experience, preferably with capital equipment or manufacturing projects
  • 5+ years of cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, milestones, and deliverables
  • Experience with capital equipment installations and qualification activities such as FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, EQ, or FAI
  • Experience coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and external vendors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools
Preferred Experience:
  • Medical device industry experience highly preferred
Job Duties:
  • Lead capital equipment and manufacturing projects from initiation through implementation
  • Develop project schedules, track milestones, manage risks, and monitor budgets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure project success
  • Facilitate project meetings, drive issue resolution, and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership
  • Support equipment installations, qualification activities, and production readiness
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans while maintaining stakeholder alignment
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Build relationships with technical SMEs and drive accountability across project teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution and communication
