Food Manufacturer is hiring for a Manufacturing/Production Manager role! The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production processes. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring that production goals are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Oversee Production Operations:

Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and meet production schedules.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

Lead, mentor, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to ensure optimal performance.

Production Planning & Scheduling:

Collaborate with the planning and procurement teams to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflow to meet customer demand.

Quality Control:

Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and conduct regular product inspections.

Process Optimization:

Identify areas for improvement in production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company health and safety policies. Conduct regular safety training and inspections.

Inventory & Resource Management:

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure adequate supplies without overstocking. Work closely with the supply chain team to minimize production downtime.

Cost Control:

Manage production budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, key metrics, and any issues or challenges to senior management. Use data analysis to drive decision-making and improvements.

Experience and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and best practices. Proven experience in managing teams, driving operational improvements, and implementing quality control measures. Knowledge of industry regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.) and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in production management software and MS Office Suite. Experience in Safety practices. Compensation range is $150k - $175k base, Bonus and Benefits!
