Today we manufacture on three continents and distribute globally, and our dedicated R D team develops transparent LED, interactive displays and next-generation visual technology. The opportunity Our Las Vegas operation is moving into a new 71,000 square foot manufacturing facility, and we require a Production Manager who will lead that move and then run the plant at its new scale. You will take a working operation into a much bigger site and get to set it up properly on the way in: plant and layout commissioned, production planning built the right way, team developed, safety and quality systems established, preventive maintenance stood up, and our manufacturing systems implemented to the group blueprint from day one rather than retrofitted later. Most production managers inherit a plant with twenty years of accumulated compromise designed into it. This is a rare chance to reset one, with an established manufacturer and a proven operating model behind you. What you will own

• Safety, without compromise. You set the standard on the floor and you hold it. Safety takes priority over schedule, cost and customer pressure, every time, and that position has the full backing of the business.
• Quality and release. Nothing leaves the factory unless it meets Simtech's criteria. Release authority is yours, and a decision to hold product is supported, not second-guessed.
• Production planning and control. You own the plan. Capacity loaded, work sequenced deliberately, jobs released only when they can actually be built and dates the rest of the business can rely on.
• The move and the ramp-up. Plant, layout, team, systems and compliance operational in the new facility with minimal disruption to production.
• Delivery. Jobs completed to the dates committed, with early warning when they are at risk. You will work closely with our project managers, who hold the client relationship on milestones, progress and commercial terms.
• Cost and performance. Accurate job costing, falling unit cost, and capacity that grows faster than headcount.
• Efficiency and innovation. Driving production speed and efficiency up and cost per unit down and delivering real innovation on the floor - automation and digitization wherever it makes the work better.
• Plant reliability. A preventive maintenance program you establish and run, with equipment investment proposed on evidence rather than after a failure.
• People and culture. Recruiting, developing and formally managing the production team, building depth so no process depends on one person, and creating a safety-focused, highly engaged, high-performing culture on the floor. What you will bring
• Proven production or manufacturing management experience, ideally in make-to-order or engineered-to-order work where every job differs
• Strong production planning and scheduling capability in a high-mix environment - capacity loading, sequencing, work release, WIP control
• Experience with a plant relocation, expansion or new line commissioning is highly regarded
• Working command of ERP or MRP production systems, and the judgment to tell a system problem from a data problem
• Genuine quality management capability - inspection regimes, release control, root cause analysis
• Demonstrated safety leadership and working knowledge of OSHA obligations
• People leadership. You lead from the floor, set a standard people want to meet, and get the best out of supervisors and teams
• Cost literacy. You can read a job cost, explain a variance and act on it
