Responsibilities:
Purpose:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and maintain operations to ensure production, safety, quality and workflow efficiencies are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs, plans and coordinates activities relative to production, establishes priorities of product and workflow. Oversees the selection of maintenance of equipment and determination of required resources. Monitors production processes, adjusts or revises production schedules and priorities to accommodate business needs. Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime Collaborates with other managers and leads to coordinate activities in and among departments. Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data. Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects. Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health. Ensure adequate scheduling of staff Performs other duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate team members through effective coaching & feedback. Take charge & ownership of role - showing strong leadership and team development Provide clear communication in terms of safety, productivity goals & targets Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality. Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or potential issues that could impact production. Act as liaison between employees and managers
Qualifications:
Qualification Requirements:
Manufacturing Experience a must Minimum of 7 years' experience within a Leadership role A true Maverick & change agent driving a culture focused on teamwork and production efficiencies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies. Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Manufacturing Management or Equivalent Education and Experience within Field.
