• Job Summary:

• We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager at Jamestown Engine Plant.

This role is responsible for leading day-to-day shop operations, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the daily production plan while maximizing resource utilization and meeting performance expectations. As a frontline leader, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational discipline, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and fostering a culture of accountability, consistency, and strong communication across the team. In this position, you will oversee direct reports by managing timekeeping processes to ensure accurate recording of work hours and consistent application of attendance policies. You will lead performance and behavior management through coaching, mentoring, and when necessary, the application of progressive discipline, while building strong manager-employee relationships grounded in trust and clarity. Success in this role requires strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and coach team members. You will also lead project initiatives from start to finish and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and close Corrective Action Responses (CARs), ensuring sustainable solutions and continuous operational improvement. Supervisory experience is preferred, along with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
