2987662778-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill seeks a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a high-volume food production facility. You will oversee production schedules, staffing, and equipment utilization to meet safety, quality, and yield targets. Partner with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance. Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives, analyze KPIs, and implement cost-saving measures. Lead, coach, and develop frontline teams, fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and problem-solving while supporting Cargill's commitment to sustainable, reliable food supply. Responsibilities Oversee daily plant production to meet safety, quality, and volume targets Develop and manage production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to reduce downtime Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and production teams Drive a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA and company safety policies Manage production budgets, yields, and waste to optimize profitability Support implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools Collaborate with leadership on capacity planning and long-term operational improvements Required Skills Production planning Lean manufacturing Six Sigma/continuous improvement Team leadership Budgeting and cost control Safety and compliance management Quality management systems Data analysis and KPIs Maintenance coordination ERP/MRP systems
