Role:
A well-established, innovation-driven manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional product programs from early development/concept through R D, and full production delivery. This role serves as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and according to technical requirements. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, tooling, automation, production, quality, and commercial teams to drive successful outcomes, successful product launches, and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects and programs from initiation through closeout, including pre-award development activities when applicable Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using formal project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) Monitor milestones, costs, risks, and performance metrics; provide regular status reporting Proactively escalate issues and implement mitigation strategies Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers to meet technical and delivery objectives Act as liaison between stakeholders, commercial teams, and technical personnel Support new product introductions (NPI) and production ramp-up activities Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, best practices, and standardized processes

Education Associate degree or higher in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline preferred Experience Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience in a manufacturing or technical environment Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle phases Experience with new product development and transition to production preferred Technical Skills Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Microsoft Project strongly preferred) Ability to interpret technical documentation such as engineering drawings and specifications Understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and resource planning Familiarity with manufacturing analytics and problem-solving methods (e.g., SPC, trend analysis) preferred Certifications PMP or equivalent certification preferred but not required Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Effective conflict resolution and change management skills High attention to detail with strong accountability and follow-through Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment Why is This a
