full-time About the Role This is a senior Plant Leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety. The primary location is Barberton, OH, with leadership responsibility extending to the Darien, WI and Monroeville, PA facilities. The position will drive continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and operational excellence while ensuring the facilities consistently meet safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer delivery objectives. Experience in specialty materials or chemical manufacturing is highly valued, particularly with engineered sheet products, polymers, membranes, or phosgene-derived products. Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety. Driving continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and operational excellence. Ensuring the facilities consistently meet safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer delivery objectives. Leading teams across a multi-site, unionized manufacturing environment. Drive performance across the key manufacturing metrics of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Lead efforts to improve throughput, OEE, scrap, downtime, productivity, and overall operational efficiency. Ensure plants consistently meet customer specifications and delivery commitments. Maintain compliance with OSHA PSM, environmental requirements, and

ISO 9000

quality systems. Identify and implement corrective actions, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Six Sigma projects, and other continuous improvement opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field Required Skills 10+ years of experience managing plant operations and large teams specialty materials or chemical manufacturing Unionized workforce experience (highly desired) Strong candidates should bring a demonstrated understanding of process manufacturing, operational metrics, quality systems, and continuous improvement. Preferred Skills The organization is particularly interested in candidates with experience in specialty materials or engineered sheet-product manufacturing. Relevant backgrounds could include microporous substrates, polymer films, membranes, or other engineered sheet products. Experience with phosgene-derived specialty chemical products is especially relevant.
