Job Description

Supply Chain Manager, Auto Manufacturing Our client, a global glass manufacturer and supplier, is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for their Bellefontaine, Ohio facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this Manager will be the driving force behind a dynamic supply chain operation that keeps production running smoothly.
General Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic inventory and logistics policies using best practices.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively, adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability, production uptime and minimized costs.
  • Analyze data and material use to optimize material flow.
  • Work closely with suppliers to establish strong relationships and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and champion the effective use of SAP to maintain and process optimization.
General Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related area.
  • 5+ years of automotive manufacturing supply chain management.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience.
  • 3+ years of planning & scheduling.
  • Skilled with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • CPIM or CSCP certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
