Job details Summary Spherion $100000.00 - $120000.00 per hour Permanent Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number D_26-00065-Prof Job details Spherion Mid Ohio's Professional Division is partnering with a growing dairy manufacturer in Wayne County, Ohio seeking a Dairy Plant Manager offering $100K-$120K plus bonus potential. With a brand new facility launching in July 2026, this is a rare opportunity to step into a true ground floor leadership role and build an operation from day one. This role will oversee both production and a retail storefront, serving local customers, coffee shops, and retailers. You will run the full operation out of the gate, leading a team of approximately 10 employees with expected growth, and setting the tone for performance, structure, and culture.
  • Direct dairy manufacturing experience is required. Candidates must come from a dairy background with leadership experience in a dairy production environment.
  • What You'll Own
  • Full oversight of day to day plant operations across production and retail.
  • Leadership, development, and accountability of a growing team.
  • KPIs, timekeeping, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Production output, efficiency, and product fulfillment.
  • Inventory, purchasing, and supply flow.
  • Food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
  • First response to operational issues, breakdowns, or urgent needs.
  • Building structure, processes, and a strong team culture from the ground up. What You Bring
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within dairy manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of dairy production, food safety, and regulatory environments.
  • FSMA certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage performance, KPIs, and team accountability.
  • Hands on leadership style with a roll up your sleeves approach.
  • Experience with inventory and purchasing systems. What Sets You Apart
