Job Description

A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a high-volume production environment. We are looking for someone with a hands-on leadership style, who thrives by being present on the floor, engaging with their team, driving performance, and ensuring a strong safety and quality culture. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership to production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence. Ensure full compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards, lead investigations, and corrective actions for incidents. Lead day-to-day production execution against a master schedule to meet production schedules to meet customer demands while maximizing labor, material, and equipment efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure quality assurance to maintain product standards and drive root cause analysis on defects and rework. Oversee preventative maintenance and facility management to ensure uninterrupted operations. Hire, train, coach, and conduct performance reviews for team members, support employee growth, and development. Monitor KPIs and use data to inform decision-making and drive operational improvements. What You Bring 5+ years of production or operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated success managing teams and improving employee engagement. Strong knowledge of safety practices, lean manufacturing, production planning, and continuous improvement methods. Effective communicator with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods. Comfortable in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and moving machinery. Use of PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) is required. Why Join Us?
