ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Handles all aspects of safety, quality, and production activities with the objective of meeting the plant's MOS measurable goals. Provides the vision, direction and leadership for production operations. Drives continuous improvement activities. Leads the plant's efforts towards development and implementation of Self-Directed Work Teams Participates with peers as a member of the plant operating team. Participates in plant strategic planning and budgeting processes for the manufacturing operation. Promotes, enforces and sustains ISO/TS 16949 and
ISO 14001
standards in manufacturing activity. Assures Area Managers and other direct reports receive appropriate direction, training and development. Assures fair application, compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Treats all other team members with respect and dignity. Performs other essential functions as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing leadership position with automotive stamping exposure.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Computer literate. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to continuous improvement through team member participation and involvement.
MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Is required to sit, stand, walk, reach overhead, bend over, and exert up to 50 pounds of force when needed. Qualifications Behaviors Leader
