Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and managing a team of technical and operational staff. This role requires a strong understanding of plant operations, technical troubleshooting, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The Plant Manager will play a key role in optimizing plant performance while upholding safety and quality standards. Duties Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely. Coordinate maintenance activities, including troubleshooting equipment issues related to welding, electrical systems, and plumbing. Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to support manufacturing processes and repairs. Lead and supervise technical staff, including welders, electricians, plumbers, and other maintenance personnel. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Develop and enforce operational policies to improve productivity, quality, and safety standards. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed to minimize downtime. Manage inventory of parts and supplies necessary for plant operations and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in manufacturing or plant management roles with a strong understanding of plant operations. Technical proficiency in welding, electrical systems, plumbing, and troubleshooting complex machinery or systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues swiftly. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within industrial or manufacturing environments. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments. Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Pay:
$75,000.00 per year
