Job Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable plant operations. This role ensures service commitments to IKEA and other customers are done in a timely and proper manner. This role oversees production planning, quality compliance, cost control, and human resource management while ensuring alignment with FLUVITEX, IKEA and all customer's quality, safety, and compliance standards. Essential Functions Production & Operations
  • Supervise and approve production planning to ensure required volumes, timelines, and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure production lines operate efficiently in terms of quantity, quality, and cost.
  • Guarantee that the production requirements for pillows and duvets are fulfilled in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Monitor operational performance and proactively resolve contingencies to minimize disruptions.
  • Manage plant labor to meet operational requirements and ensure operational roles are staffed and trained within plant budgets. Budgeting & Financial Performance
  • Prepare and manage the plant's annual production cost budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to approved budgets while maintaining profitability targets.
  • Analyze operational costs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Quality & Compliance
  • Define and implement the
FLUVITEX
Quality Policy in accordance with IKEA requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with IKEA Quality Policy, audits, and operational standards.
  • Supervise quality assurance processes to guarantee customer satisfaction. Leadership & Human Resources
  • Supervise the management of plant human resources and staffing effectiveness.
  • Lead, develop, and manage cross-functional teams. Performance Management & Reporting
  • Participate in defining the Balanced Scorecard with the Board of Directors.
  • Implement, monitor, and improve KPIs.
  • Report plant performance to senior leadership.

Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
