Plant Manager

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Plant Manager for an industry leading global automotive supplier in NW Ohio. Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive excellence across all facets of plant management. This pivotal role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring quality standards, optimizing supply chain activities, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in metal stamping and tool and die. Excellent leadership capabilities, technical expertise in metal stamping/manufacturing systems, and a strategic mindset to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Develop and implement production plans to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery schedules. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to reduce waste and increase productivity. Monitor key performance indicators related to manufacturing performance, quality control, and operational costs; analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancement. Supervise departmental managers across production and tool and die. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the workforce. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment; prior operations/production management experience in metal stamping is required. Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to metal stamping equipment and processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage cross-functional departments effectively. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision making. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field preferred. Metal stamping experience in a high volume manufacturing environment is required. $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
