Oklahoma City, OK Area Compensation:
$175,000-$200,000 Base Salary + Comprehensive Benefits Overview Our client, a leading manufacturer within the building products industry, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for overall plant performance, including safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and implementing strategic initiatives that improve business results. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence. Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational goals are achieved. Partner with department leaders to improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance. Lead capital improvement projects, including planning, budgeting, implementation, and return-on-investment analysis. Drive structured problem-solving efforts and sustainable corrective actions to resolve operational challenges. Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime. Promote Lean manufacturing principles through initiatives such as 5S, visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement programs. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while maintaining a strong safety-first culture. Build organizational capability through training, coaching, and talent development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred. 10+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Previous leadership experience overseeing large manufacturing operations. Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience driving operational performance improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics. Working knowledge of tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance systems, and quality management systems. Ability to analyze operational and financial performance and make data-driven decisions. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
