Job Description

Manufacturing Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead fabrication and electromechanical assembly operations in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with engineering to move products from prototype through production. The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing leadership with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing engineering. Experience in machining is not required. Key Responsibilities Lead daily fabrication and assembly operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Manage production schedules, staffing, and resources to support customer commitments. Partner with engineering on new product introductions, process development, and manufacturing improvements. Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency. Monitor and report key performance metrics, including throughput, quality, and on-time delivery. Develop, coach, and lead production supervisors and team members. Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. Strong background in metal fabrication and assembly operations. Experience supporting products from prototype to full production. Proven success leading teams and driving operational improvements. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and manufacturing KPIs. Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is preferred.
