Full-Time, Exempt We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations for a food-processing facility specializing in food flavors, colors, seasonings, and ingredient solutions. This position oversees production, quality, food safety, sanitation, maintenance, warehousing, inventory, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations across all production departments. Develop and execute production schedules based on customer demand. Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, OSHA, and environmental regulations. Oversee production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, warehouse, and inventory operations. Lead food-safety audits, regulatory inspections, and corrective-action plans. Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives. Manage operating budgets, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and cost-control efforts. Monitor production efficiency, OEE, downtime, on-time delivery, first-pass yield, inventory accuracy, and safety performance. Coach and develop supervisors and department managers through performance management and succession planning. Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Research and Development, and Customer Service to meet company objectives. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, quality, and operational excellence. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. Seven to ten years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. At least five years of experience managing supervisors and department managers. Previous experience in food processing or the manufacturing of flavors, colors, seasonings, or food ingredients. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, SQF, FDA, GMP, and OSHA standards. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, labor costs, production performance, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. SQF Practitioner certification. HACCP certification. OSHA 30-Hour certification. Certified Food Safety Manager credential.
