Full-time, Exempt Position Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Imperial Filtration (IFI) facility, including pleated bag filter manufacturing, production scheduling, quality, safety, and workforce management. This role ensures the plant meets safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets while supporting the company's growth in filtration media and new product lines. The Plant Manager works closely with the COO, Operations Manager, Product Development, Purchasing, and Sales to align production capacity with customer and intercompany demand. Key Responsibilities Direct all daily manufacturing operations for pleated bag filter production, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow. Own plant safety performance; lead safety training, incident investigation, and corrective action. Ensure on-time delivery performance against customer and intercompany order commitments. Maintain product quality standards, including compliance with approval drawing and leak-testing procedures. Supervise production supervisors, leads, and hourly staff; manage hiring, training, and performance. Manage plant budget, labor costs, and material yield/waste; identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities. Coordinate with Purchasing on raw material availability to prevent production delays. Partner with Product Development on new product introductions. Maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement in throughput, quality, and safety using lean manufacturing principles. Report plant KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost) to the COO on a regular cadence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred(Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field). 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including direct P&L or cost-center accountability. Experience in industrial manufacturing, or a related production environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record improving safety, quality, and on-time delivery metrics. Strong people-management skills, including experience supervising supervisors and hourly production staff. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing / continuous improvement methods. Proficiency with production scheduling and ERP systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Product Development.
