Job Description

Assistant Plant Manager - 108474 Launch your career in manufacturing! Our client is seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Assistant Plant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone looking to grow their career in a manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with customers and the production team to help ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on schedule.
Schedule:
Full-time Pay:
Training Period (approximately 4 weeks): $18.00/hour
After Successful Training:
$22.00/hour
Status:
This is a direct hire position with health insurance and paid vacation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare customer price quotations for products. Respond to customer inquiries and requests by phone and email. Coordinate and schedule manufacturing production. Work closely with the Plant Manager and machine mechanics to ensure efficient production scheduling. Download customer files, verify imaging and graphic art configurations, and confirm accuracy before production begins. Obtain freight quotes and schedule truck shipments for completed orders.
Qualifications:
A two- or four-year college degree is preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply! Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
