Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Plant Manager for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Kansas City, KS.
Compensation:
$140,000 - $155,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production,pliance with industry standards and plant-wide safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You will identify and lead continuous improvement projects. You will be on-site and will report to the Director of IS Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics and ensure adnce to customer specifications
Maintain a safe work environment inpliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all teams
Oversee quality control systems to meet automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement programs
Improve and ensure production schedules meet customer delivery requirements
Monitor indicators for throughput, scrap rates, and downtime; implement cost-saving measures
Lead, coach, and guide development of plant staff to achieve performance goals
Foster a collaborative and performance culture
Be the primary contact for customer audits and technical inquiries
Ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and quality performance
Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains
Primary Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
10+ years' experience managing plant operations and large teams
Experience with chemical manufacturing
