Job Description

Finance Manager Louisville, KY A growing organization with U.S. headquarters recently established in Louisville is seeking a Finance Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance for its expanding American operations. This hybrid role allows for two remote days per week and reports to the Group Finance Director, based in Europe. Schedule Hybrid, three days on-site and two days remote per week. Compensation $100,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do The Finance Manager leads and manages the monthly close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, including Blackline reconciliations and system uploads. This person produces monthly financial statements and reporting packages with narrative analysis and presents financial results to leadership in monthly review meetings. The role owns the 13-week cash flow forecast and ongoing liquidity analysis, supports monthly rolling forecasts and budget updates, and analyzes variances between actuals, forecast, and budget to provide actionable financial insights. This role also ensures compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, oversees preparation and filing of returns and reports, and manages relationships with external advisors and auditors. Partnering with engineering and operations, the Finance Manager tracks capital expenditures and project budgets, monitors project costs and timelines, and manages asset capitalization processes. This person identifies and implements process improvements to drive automation and efficiency in financial systems, and provides oversight and guidance to accounting staff while serving as a key finance partner to operations and leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8 or more years of experience in accounting or finance Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting ERP and financial systems experience with tools such as D365 Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications CPA MBA Power BI experience Experience with tax credits and incentives Project or capital accounting experience Multi-entity or international exposure Compensation and Benefits $100,000 to $130,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
