Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lean:
5S, SW, VSM, SMED, Single Piece Flow, Strategy Deployment, Kanban, Heijunka, daily management @ genba, SQDIP/SQDC, VOC, Action Planning Problem Solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities Kaizen facilitation Robotics and automation and AI industrial experience Leadership and communication skills, influencing techniques Strategy and Development Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational and transactional performance Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities General and Task Management Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement in a Toyota Lean style Provide project management, analytical and research skills and expertise Provide expertise, professional advice and guidance to the business in business improvement, drawing from proven industry practice and methodologies Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success Undertake continuous training and development Contribute and support the operational rhythm Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department DfX, support in NPI to ensure manufacturability, automation, standardization Support automation and robotization projects in manufacturing and logistics from Lean perspective Alignment of 3P with Automation & Robotics integrations Support make or buy evaluations Good practice evaluation and deployment New AI opportunities evaluation and deployment Intra functional VSM Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in an accredited university or college Minimum of 10 years of experience of Lean implementation in Lean dedicated roles in manufacturing industry and overall experience of 14+years.
