NO VISA sponsorship available now or in the future) Position Purpose A hands-on, execution-focused leader responsible for driving world-class manufacturing performance across the Americas region, covering 1,500+ employees in four plants in US & Mexico. Our client is a global leader in evaporative cooling and heat rejection equipment, serving data center, HVAC, industrial process, power, and refrigeration customers. This role is accountable for building GREAT factories —delivering safety, quality, delivery, and cost results with relentless urgency, operational discipline, and employee engagement. You will own safety, quality, delivery, and cost results across a fabrication and assembly-based manufacturing network during a period of significant growth. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will be on the floor, setting the standard for daily execution, developing plant leaders, and expanding capacity without sacrificing performance. Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or related field. 15+ years in industrial manufacturing operations; 5+ years leading multiple plants with 1500+ employees
- someone who has already sat above multiple Plant Managers at a 4-plant/1,500+ employee regional level.
Proven success in operations execution, plant performance improvement, and scaling production. Knowledge & Skills Proven leader who delivers results across multiple plants through execution—not just direction . Strong presence on the floor— visible, engaged, and hands-on leader. Cross-border leadership experience ( U.S. and Mexico strongly preferred). Experience in heavy fabrication, metal forming, welding, or engineered-to-order manufacturing (HVAC, industrial equipment, power generation, or similar) Demonstrated ability to instill urgency, discipline, and accountability across teams . Track record of meeting aggressive throughput and operational targets, especially in high-growth or turnaround environments. Strong experience building engaged, high-performance frontline cultures, not just leadership alignment. Deep expertise in Lean principles with a focus on daily management and execution, not just tools. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-expectation environments with a bias for action. Demonstrated success in scaling operations while maintaining control and performance stability. Responsibilities Drive a Culture of Urgent, Disciplined Execution Establish clear expectations for daily, weekly, and monthly performance with strict accountability to throughput, schedule attainment, and operational metrics. Lead with urgency—closing gaps in real time and ensuring issues are addressed immediately, not deferred. Build and Sustain GREAT Factories Create high-performance environments defined by strong leadership, engaged employees, visual management, and standard work discipline. Routinely assess plant maturity and take decisive action to elevate underperforming operations. Deliver Throughput and Operational Targets Ensure each facility reliably meets or exceeds production output, on-time delivery, and cost commitments. Remove bottlenecks, improve flow, and drive productivity with a hands-on, results-first approach. Lead Plant Managers with High Expectations Hold plant leadership fully accountable for performance while actively coaching and developing them. Instill a no-excuses mindset with clear ownership of results at every level. Elevate Employee Engagement and Accountability Build a culture where frontline teams are aligned, motivated, and actively contributing to improvement. - Lead plant ramp-ups and capacity expansion with precision, ensuring execution keeps pace with demand without sacrificing performance.
Standardize and Strengthen Operating Discipline Across Sites Deploy and enforce common operating rhythms: tier meetings, KPI reviews, leader standard work, and problem-solving rigor. Ensure consistency in how work is planned, executed, and measured across all facilities. Travel Required up to 50% of the time mostly in the US and Mexico with potential for the occasional trips to Europe and Asia.
