In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet quality benchmarks, optimize efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. Duties Coordinate and supervise all aspects of production processes to meet quality, safety, and efficiency goals. Lead and motivate production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Monitor manufacturing operations for mechanical issues, troubleshooting equipment as needed to minimize downtime. Implement safety protocols related to heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks to protect team members. Maintain accurate production records, report on key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for process enhancements. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a fast-paced platings or coatings environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and heavy lifting procedures. Familiarity with GMP regulations and maintaining compliance within manufacturing settings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work environment. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods as required by the role.
