About the Role As a Plant Operations Lead, you will spearhead manufacturing excellence by overseeing production workflows, engineering projects, and maintenance strategies. You will drive organizational success by optimizing resource allocation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet ambitious safety and productivity targets. Responsibilities Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, tooling, and technical resource management to maximize output. Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance process efficiency. Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital equipment projects to ensure high machine reliability and minimal downtime. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, cost-control, and delivery timelines. Manage departmental budgets, focusing on labor efficiency and material cost reduction to improve overall profitability. Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards and regulatory compliance, including OSHA and ISO requirements. Mentor and develop staff, fostering a high-performance environment through effective coaching and succession planning. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment. Proven track record of managing complex operations including maintenance and engineering functions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and solve operational bottlenecks. Demonstrated expertise in operational metrics, production planning, and financial forecasting. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field. Specific experience in blow molding or injection molding processes within the automotive sector. Advanced certification or deep practical experience in Kaizen and continuous improvement frameworks.
