Production Superintendent - 1st and 2nd shift positions

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Superintendent to lead our manufacturing operations during the 2nd shift. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will inspire teams to operate efficiently, optimize processes, and uphold the highest standards of manufacturing excellence. Duties Lead and manage the 2nd shift production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability Develop and execute production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules to meet delivery deadlines Monitor production performance metrics through Excel data analysis and manufacturing management systems to identify areas for improvement Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, quality control, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and executing process improvements Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all shifts Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of supply chain analytics and operations management Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar manufacturing management software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma principles, and process improvement strategies Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly processes Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster cross-functional communication, and manage multiple priorities effectively Strong understanding of quality control procedures and plant management best practices Excellent organizational skills with experience in production scheduling, planning, and supply chain management Join us as a Production Superintendent on the 2nd shift to lead our manufacturing excellence!
