Production Manager

Job Description

The third shift supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing operations during 3rd shift. This role ensures production goals are met in alignment with safety, quality, cost, and compliance standards while fostering continuous improvement through Lean principles. The supervisor will manage team performance, coordinate scheduling to meet customer requirements, and serve as the primary point of contact for production-related issues. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to drive operational excellence and maintain adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Apply Lean principles in daily operations and problem-solving activities. Support production teams in achieving goals related to safety, quality, cost, output, and compliance. Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Communicate key business and customer updates effectively to employees. Oversee off shift manufacturing processes and schedule production to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with teams to understand business and financial metrics, enhancing individual and team capabilities Ensure assigned employees are aware/comply with all government, customer and applicable policies, procedures, rules and Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices Coordinate with internal departments, external organizations, and vendors to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements. Provide ongoing management, coaching and counseling for our Self-directed work teams, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and Serve as the primary point of contact for production-related issues, ensuring swift resolution. Conduct employee performance evaluations, providing clear feedback and actionable development plans. Qualifications/Requirements H.S. Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing role Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or support position. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Microsoft Office 365
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
