Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and foster a high-performing team environment. Duties Lead and manage daily plant operations, including production scheduling, process improvement, and resource allocation to meet operational goals. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Oversee production management systems such as
SAP, ERP
systems, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and manufacturing management tools to ensure seamless workflow. Coordinate cross-functional communication across departments including quality control, supply chain management, maintenance, and assembly teams to optimize overall plant performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality metrics, safety compliance, and supply chain analytics; analyze data using Excel and other tools for actionable insights. Drive safety initiatives by enforcing strict safety protocols, conducting regular audits, and fostering a culture of safety awareness among staff. Manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and delivery of finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy through advanced planning techniques. Develop staffing plans, oversee team leadership activities, and promote professional growth within the manufacturing team. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in operations management and process improvement. Demonstrated expertise with
SAP, ERP
systems, MRP software, and production management systems essential for streamlined operations. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as Lean management and Six Sigma to drive efficiency improvements. Familiarity with supply chain management practices including supply chain analytics and logistics coordination. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and assembly processes is highly desirable. Experience leading cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills; ability to motivate staff towards shared goals. Prior success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable productivity gains. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
