Position Summary As our Assistant Production Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, supporting the Manufacturing Manager, and helping drive daily production success across the department. What You Will Be Doing The Assistant Production Manager will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to plan, organize, and execute daily production workflows that keep operations running efficiently. In this role, you will help ensure all manufacturing commitments are met on schedule, identify and report any operational or maintenance issues that could delay production, and support the hiring, training, supervision, and motivation of employees while helping manage schedules to meet output goals. You will also serve as the secondary decision-maker for the department whenever the Manufacturing Manager is unavailable, collaborate with support teams to ensure timely and consistent assistance, and maintain strict compliance with SOPs, good manufacturing practices, and safety regulations to uphold a reliable and safe working environment. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in operational excellence, process improvement, or a similar field. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or project management are highly valued.
• Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and a talent for solving complex problems.
• Ability to obtain or currently possess a DOE "Q" Clearance.

Pay:

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range:

$113,320-$188,866. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience. This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test. Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
