Manufacturing Manager (CNC Machining)

Salary:

$100,000 - $130,000 + Benefits Lead Manufacturing Operations and Drive Results We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager with a strong background in CNC machining, manual machining, and MasterCAM programming to lead our manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can manage people, improve processes, and drive production performance in a fast-paced machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading manufacturing teams, optimizing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily manufacturing and machine shop operations Manage CNC and manual machining departments Supervise, mentor, and develop machinists, programmers, and production personnel Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and on-time delivery Support and improve machining processes using MasterCAM and CNC best practices Monitor key performance indicators including productivity, efficiency, scrap, quality, and labor utilization Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges Improve equipment utilization, reliability, and overall operational performance Ensure compliance with all safety policies and quality standards Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement opportunities QualificationsRequired 5+ years of Manufacturing Management, Production Management, or Machine Shop Leadership experience Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC machining operations Experience with manual machining equipment and processes Working knowledge of MasterCAM programming Experience leading manufacturing, machine shop, or production teams Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Strong understanding of tooling, machine setup, machining strategies, feeds, and speeds Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience Experience with ERP/MRP systems Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection processes Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment Compensation & Benefits $100,000 - $130,000 annual salary Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Professional Development Opportunities Career Advancement Potential Why Join Us?
