- Role Summary
- The Manufacturing Associate Manager (Front Line Leader) - Paper (PM1) - manages a crew ensuring its effective operation by coordinating and directing employees, assigning tasks, coordinating the flow of work, overseeing completion of work, and monitoring performance of subordinates.
- Duties & Responsibilities (
- _include but are not limited to the following)_
- :•+ Supervise, direct, and lead the day-to-day activities of team within assigned area to ensure safe and quality production and meet identified goals + Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following, implementing, and enforcing Company safety standards and procedures, housekeeping standards, and 5S/lean manufacturing programs by ensuring goals are met within the department.
- Required Characteristics
- + Three (3) years of experience in manufacturing or military equivalent + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills + Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook + Proven experience with reliability and continuous improvement principles and techniques + Solid oral and written communication skills + Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule and overtime as required + Available to work on holiday, off-days, and weekends + Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening and reference check + Legally authorized to work in the United States •Desired Characteristics•+ BS Degree in business discipline + Experienced in paper manufacturing + Experience within a unionized environment + Working knowledge of SAP + Knowledge Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma •
Pay Range:
