We manufacture and supply high-quality metal roofing and panel systems with a strong focus on product quality, competitive pricing, reliable service, and long-term customer relationships. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to help expand our contractor network and drive B2B sales throughout our market. About the Position This is a high-performance B2B sales position designed for someone who is confident developing relationships with roofing contractors and construction companies and is motivated by significant earning potential. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business, developing contractor accounts, increasing sales with existing customers, and creating long-term relationships that generate recurring revenue. This position includes a partial base salary combined with an aggressive commission structure. Your earning potential will grow as you build your customer base and increase sales. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with roofing contractors, builders, general contractors, and construction companies
- Prospect and acquire new B2B customers
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, jobsite visits, and industry relationships
- Present and sell our metal roofing and panel products
- Develop and manage a personal book of contractor accounts
- Identify upcoming construction and roofing projects
- Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes
- Negotiate pricing and close sales
- Increase sales volume within existing accounts
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process
- Work closely with estimating, manufacturing, and operations to ensure orders are handled efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Track sales activity, opportunities, and account development
- Help develop and execute strategies to expand our market presence What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional who knows how to build relationships and close business. Required
- Proven sales ability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prospect and develop new business independently
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Professional communication with business owners and contractors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:
- Roofing sales
- Metal roofing
- Metal panel sales
- Construction materials
- Building materials
- Roofing supply
- Manufacturing
- B2B construction sales
- General contracting
- Commercial construction Knowledge of metal panel profiles, gauges, coatings/finishes, accessories, roofing systems, estimating, and construction processes is a strong advantage.
