Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Production Manager Job Description:
We are looking for a manager of production operations to help manage our team of manufacturing specialists. Responsibilities include keeping the production of our projects on schedule, keeping project duties productive, and helping our skilled specialist to understand the scope and requirements of each project. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in the production manufacturing process. You will oversee up to 25 employees in composite fabrication layup and infusion. For more information go to wcillc.com. Responsibilities Organizing, motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff. Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep our organization accident-free. Communicate regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production. Evaluate staff and tool resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime. Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of Manufacturing operations. Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team. Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality. Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff. Shop cleanup and organization.Requirements:
5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience (required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly understand and use our production traveler software.Proficiency in computer software applications:
MS Word and MS Excel. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills. Proven record in training employees about safety and production. Ability to coach and motivate employees. Ability to defuse disputes between employees. Proven ability to meet deadlines. Basic understanding ofISO 9001
quality production standards and how they are implemented. High school education required. Bachelor's degree in production management a plus! Experience managing a construction crew is a big plus.
