Our Production Manager works directly on the production floor alongside employees and supervisors to keep the team organized, productive, safe, and on schedule. You will spend much of your day interacting with employees, providing hands-on training, monitoring production, reinforcing company standards, and adjusting staffing as needed throughout the shift. This is an active position requiring extended periods of standing and walking, as well as reaching, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate is approachable, professional, dependable, and about to maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment. Previous leadership or management experience is required. Experience in food manufacturing, food service, production, or a related environment is strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a significant plus, but are not required. This position requires the ability to work 50-60 hours per week. Primary Responsibilities Work alongside employees to ensure production SOPs, quality standards, food safety requirements, and workplace safety procedures are consistently followed. Coach, train, cross-train, and retrain employees to strengthen skills and improve overall team performance. Follow the daily production plan and ensure assigned work is completed efficiently and on schedule. Monitor staffing throughout the day and adjust employee assignments to accommodate production needs, breaks, lunches, and call-outs. Maintain clear and effective communication with employees and upper management. Supervise employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, and expectations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment throughout the shift. Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees as needed. Identify production challenges and work with management to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Assist with implementing new processes, procedures, and systems as approved by upper management. Help create a positive, productive workplace where employees understand expectations and are held accountable for their performance.
