About the Role As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will oversee all plant floor activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production output. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, optimize manufacturing processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to meet ambitious business goals. Responsibilities Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring full compliance with OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards to maintain an incident-free workplace. Direct daily manufacturing operations, balancing production schedules, labor resources, and inventory levels to maximize productivity and customer service. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing statistical analysis to identify losses, implement corrective actions, and refine standard work procedures. Provide mentorship and performance management to team leads, fostering a collaborative environment focused on problem-solving and professional development. Coordinate with technical and maintenance departments to ensure equipment reliability and optimize asset utilization. Analyze operational data and financial reports to identify cost-reduction opportunities and ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Support the successful introduction of new products by aligning production capabilities with quality parameters and technical requirements. Qualifications Required Skills Associate or Technical degree in a related field. 5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing environments. Strong proficiency in statistical process control, root cause analysis, and quality metrics. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and ERP systems like SAP. Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. Preferred Skills Deep understanding of BRC, HACCP, and
ISO 14001
environmental standards. Prior experience in metal packaging or high-speed container manufacturing. Demonstrated success in managing complex personnel issues and recruitment. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on lean manufacturing principles.
