Autumn Harp is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations within our fast-paced, 24/6 contract manufacturing facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing performance while delivering exceptional service to our customers. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily production activities, develop and coach frontline leaders, drive operational excellence initiatives, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations Lead and oversee all production operations across a multi-shift manufacturing environment. Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and company standards. Align production resources, staffing, and capacity to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. Translate business objectives into effective operational execution plans. Leadership & Team Development Develop, coach, and support Production Supervisors and frontline leaders. Build a high-performing manufacturing team through employee development, accountability, and engagement. Provide leadership in performance management, decision-making, and workforce planning. Foster a culture centered on safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and employee involvement. Promote effective communication throughout manufacturing operations. Operational Excellence Champion Daily Management Systems and Lean Manufacturing principles. Drive waste reduction, process simplification, and productivity improvements. Establish and maintain visual management systems and KPI accountability. Lead structured problem-solving efforts using root cause analysis methodologies. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall manufacturing performance. Technical & Cross-Functional Leadership Support resolution of complex manufacturing process challenges. Analyze production losses and implement sustainable corrective actions. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams to improve manufacturing performance and reliability. Support process optimization, validation activities, and technology transfers. Provide leadership and direction during operational disruptions and critical business situations. Business Performance Own and manage key manufacturing performance metrics, including: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Labor Efficiency Schedule Attainment Waste Reduction Rework OSCOT Present operational results and improvement plans to senior leadership. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning activities. Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. Experience leading multi-shift manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience managing and developing teams of 75+ employees. Demonstrated success improving operational KPIs and driving business results. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies. Experience developing leaders and building high-performing teams.
