2991421554-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production facility. You will oversee production planning, staffing, and equipment utilization to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets. Partnering with QA, maintenance, and supply chain, you will drive continuous improvement using lean tools, monitor KPIs, control costs, and ensure regulatory and food safety compliance. You will coach and develop frontline supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of integrity, safety, and inclusive, innovative problem-solving aligned with Cargill's sustainability goals. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day plant production operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and service targets Develop and execute production schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards (e.g., HACCP, OSHA) Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to optimize throughput and minimize downtime Manage budget, control operating costs, and support capital project planning Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate supervisors and production staff Promote a strong safety culture and lead incident prevention and root cause investigations Support Cargill's sustainability and operational excellence goals through process improvements Required Skills Production planning and scheduling Lean manufacturing Continuous improvement Safety and OSHA compliance Quality management systems (HACCP, ISO) Budgeting and cost control Data analysis and KPIs Team leadership and performance management Root cause analysis SAP or similar ERP systems
